Marco Rubio isn't just well known for not showing up for work. He's also known for not paying attention when he does, or at least not to anything that really matters to most Americans, and we're seeing he wouldn't change that if her were elected President. Which he won't be.
Today he provided yet another example of that:
A Republican governor carrying out the GOP dream (that Rubio shares) of cost cutting and shrinking government and its duties to protect the public down to the size of a bathtub, did so by switching an entire city over to lead poisoned water, ignored the fact that it was irreversibly harming the population which "just happens" to include black children, and only acted when the rest of the nation found out about it, and Rubio's response as a candidate for President of the United States is "It's just not an issue we've quite frankly followed."
Second only to his unconscionable response is the sad fact that this is the kind of thing we've come to expect from Rubio and his party. He and the rest of the GOP Presidential field really don't care to be President of the "United" States, but rather only for and of the small fraction of Americans who still agree with them. The rest of us are just out of luck.
