Well, he's done it again. Today Sen. Marco Rubio voted against the Violence Against Women Act, this time despite the fact that it also included human trafficking legilslation that he co-sponsored.
When he recently stated that he was in favor of women in combat, perhaps this is what he actually meant?
In spite of Rubio, it passed with a vote of 78-22. Sen. Bill Nelson (D-FL) voted in favor. Rubio claimed that he objected to the way the bill affected state spending decisions.
It's always "about the spending" with Rubio, be it a gay, undocumented or native American woman being beaten and abused, or a Hurricane victim who has lost everything and then some, it makes no difference to him. Being a self-proclaimed pays for home improvements via GOP credit card "fiscal conservative" means never having to lift a finger to help anyone else.
