My, my, my. How many times have we heard Rick Scott say someone's doing a great job for him just as they're forced to resign due to incompetence or wrongdoing? Who can count, am I right? Well, here's another, and so far this isn't one of those times when a resignation follows. Well, at least not yet:
Adam Hollingsworth: Sure I lied on my resume about my non-existent college degree for at least seven years, but I've learned from my mistakes.....when I've been caught making them. Besides, I actually got a degree seven years after I got caught lying that I had one. So?
So, there are calls for Hollingsworth's resignation, but will he resign? Well, that's up to Rick Scott, whose musical chairs of Administration officials is running low on replacements, not to mention that Hollingsworth is Scott's third chief of staff in as many years. So what does Scott have to say about that? The man who prides himself on "transparency and ethics?"
You'll never guess: Great job!
This time, apparently Scott's saying: So you lied on your resume? Fine by me! Hollingsworth fits right in as chief of staff for the man whose former company went into the record books for Medicare fraud.
